All About You was an idea which had its start fifteen years ago (at least the name began then). It came out of the desire to give back to the community. Since I was a child, I have always wanted to help others. When I asked my Aunt about being a missionary, she suggested that I work in my backyard. Matthew 25:35-41 has led my thoughts. God asks You and Me to take care of his people. See passage below:
35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, 36naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’ 37Then the righteous* will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’ 40 And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.
As a working mom and nursing student at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, I wondered how I can glorify my Lord. I decided that the best way to proceed was to give of myself. In 1 Thessalonians 4:11,12, it states “Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mine your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.”
Thus, continued the progression of this idea (All About You). On this website, you will find many items all made by hand. All About You will be about you & me, but most importantly about HIM. TEN PERCENT OF PURCHASES will go to Saint Vincent de Paul and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals divided evenly.
